Recent Events:
January 22-27, 2008 – Easy Company successfully participated in the annual Battle of the Bulge commemoration at Ft. Indiantown Gap, PA.

Upcoming Events:
April 17-19, 2008 – Easy Company will be supporting the annual D-Day Tactical at Torrance, PA. The event is hosted by E-508, 82nd Airborne.

June 6-8, 2008 – Easy Company will be attending the Reading Airshow.

Thoughts and Prayers:
- Sincerest condolences go out to the Guth family on the passing of Forrest’s wife Harriet. Rest in peace Ma’am.

- Sincerest condolences go out to the Pickel family on the passing of Easy Company man Roy Pickel. Roy was featured prominently during the We Stand Alone Together documentary on the Band of Brothers DVD set. Rest in peace Roy.

Congrats!
Happy Birthday to Major Richard Winters. The Major recently celebrated his 90th birthday.

Other E Company men celebrating recent birthdays were Buck Compton and Forrest Guth. Other Easy Company troopers celebrating birthdays in the near future will be Bill Guarnere, Frank Perconte and Norm Neitzke. Happy Birthday Gents!

Congrats to “Wild Bill” Guarnere and Babe Heffron on the success of their book, Brothers in Battle. It’s a great read and has been doing extremely in sales.

Congrats also go out to Buck Compton and Don Malarkey. Both have books coming out this year. Buck’s book is titled; Call of Duty and Senator and presidential hopeful, John McCain penned the forward. Buck’s book should be out by May 2008. Don’s book is tentatively titled; Easy Company Soldier: The Endless Combat of a Sergeant from World War II's "Band of Brothers" and should be out in May as well.

Our GAP Guests
Easy Company was honored that John Primerano (Wire Section/HQ/501st PIR) was able to stay with us at Ft. Indiantown Gap.

John is a regular at Easy Company events. A veteran of the Market Garden jump and actions at Bastogne, John also has a wonderful storytellers streak in him and he kept many of us in stitches throughout the week. Thanks again Prim!

Run In’s
Easy Company had a most welcome guest at the GAP. Clancy Lyall stopped by to see the Company and tour the barracks. Clancy was very impressed with our troopers and our Wall of Honor. Thanks for stopping by Clancy!
